Module
9 - Personal Development
You have probably
already listened to the Personal Development CD /
MP3. We can summarise the concept and
importance of personal development in a few quotes from
Jim Rohn...
"Don't wish it were easier,
wish you were better. Don't wish for less problems,
wish for more wisdom."
"Formal education will make you a living; self-education
will make you a fortune."
"It is the set of the sails, not the direction of the
wind that determines which way we will go."
In other words, your
success is down to you. It's down to your motivation,
your character and your skills. None of us work in a
vacuum. The majority of us are naturally lazy - we'll
do as little as possible just to get by. To become
successful, you need to push your comfort zone, to be a
high performer in some way. If you're not associating
with the right people and feeding your mind with the
right information, success will be all but impossible.
Did you know that over
80% of millionaires have their own library in their
home? Do you think they bought the selection of books
and audios once they became a millionaire or do you
think, just maybe, that the books and audios played a
huge part in their success? We think you know the
answer to that. All significantly successful people
develop themselves and you must too. Learning doesn't
stop when you leave school or graduate - it's a
continuous process.
What are the main ways
to develop yourself?
- Reading books
- Listening to audios
- Attending trainings

- Associating with
other successful people or your 'mastermind' group
- Looking after your
physical health (diet, exercise, meditation etc.)
